$25 million added to the Main Street Bounce Back grant

In September 2022, Gov. Tony Evers and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. announced an additional $25 million in funding for the Main Street Bounceback Grant program. The program is aimed at helping small businesses and nonprofits move or expand into vacant commercial spaces. The additional funding brings the total investment of the program to $100 million. To date, the program has helped nearly 6,000 businesses and organizations. Funds for the Main Street Bounceback Grant Program are provided by the federal American Rescue Plan Act, and the deadline for grant applications remains Dec. 31, 2022. Grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until all the funds are disbursed.
